He should also emphasize his good communication skills as this is important in listening to the problems of the equipment as explained by the user and is important in training people on the proper procedure in handling of equipment and correcting operator error tactfully and in a professional manner.
It would be advantageous for a BMET to enhance and update his understanding of software and electronics as many new medical devices are increasingly reliant on computers.
